Punta Sayulita Classic preferred airline partner, Alaska Airlines, has approved the transport of surfboards up to 12’6″ inches in length (this includes SUP Race Boards) as checked baggage. As such, all competitors arranging travel on Alaska Airlines should send their Alaska Airlines Confirmation Codes to [email protected] so that the Punta Sayulita Classic can provide competitors’ confirmation codes to Alaska Airlines in order to clear the transport of their surfboards in advance. The Punta Sayulita Classic is in the process of making the same special checked baggage arrangements for surfboards with United Airlines and US Airlines and will announce the confirmation of these arrangements as soon we have received approval.
